WHO AM I
I'm a guy who's had a ton of life experience and I've just got some things to talk about.
First, I've lived all over the world as a regular civilian but also while in the US Army as a paratrooper. When I got out, I started college and my first real job as a surveyor with an engineering consultant firm in San Diego. When the economy tanked in 2009 I moved to Utah and became a sales executive for a Fortune 50 logistics company. At the time, my dad was undergoing cancer treatments back in California and was hoping to open a restaurant before he passed so he asked me to take a second job for a year or two in the restaurant industry so I could get some experience and work with him. When I came back to California, the restaurant didn't materialize for a multitude of reasons but I got a job as a business consultant for an IT company and was quickly hired on to manage the company I was working with. I stayed there for over 7 years and grew the company out of storage unit into a multi location business but I wasn't growing with the company and found myself going a little nuts. I decided to make a jump and become a rideshare driver at least until I figured out what my passion was. I really enjoyed being independent and the adventures I went on and listened to podcasts a lot. I feel like my voice could be lent to the ears that need to know they're not alone and could use a little entertainment as well as information. Through my experiences in life, I have developed a unique perspective on most topics and I think the fresh perspective you'll hear is a good change of pace and, if nothing else, some fodder for good conversation.
